Important information for Students First and foremost make sure you pack your “Spirit Gear” you will need it for the opening ceremonies and are welcome to wear it at various times throughout the weekend. "UM, What’s Spirit Gear?" you ask. Spirit gear is noisemakers, glow sticks, banners, crazy hats, school clothing, and basically anything that shows your pride for your school! Let your imagination fly and the more noise and school spirit you can show the better. You will have the opportunity to show off your “Spirit Gear” when your school is introduced. Make sure you bring lots of comfy casual clothes. Friday and Saturday are filled with activities and you do not want to be restricted because of your clothes. So wear clothes that allow you to jump up and down, crawl under tables or make a person pyramid. Friday night, you are cordially invited to our theme dance, “Making Your Mark" Costumes and themes will include anything related to Finding Your Fit! Be creative and come dressed as how you perceive yourself making your mark in the world. On Saturday night, our closing banquet is SEMI-FORMAL. This means giving your jeans a break, and giving your dressy wear a chance to shine! No tuxedos or gowns necessary, but put in a little extra effort! After our Banquet, we are having another dance. As our leaders of tomorrow, we ask that you remember to be respectful to your billets. After all, they welcomed you into their home with open arms. You are required to follow their rules and all of the conference curfews. It is appropriate to give a card or some token of appreciation to your billets at the end of your stay. Also, please don’t forget to thank them upon departure from the conference.
Please follow us on Twitter (@PSLC2017) and share any pictures of your leadership memories.
